We’re looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience to ensure the quality and reliability of complex software systems. You’ll work on international projects, implementing comprehensive testing strategies while collaborating closely with development and product teams.
Responsibilities
Testing Strategy & Execution:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple environments
- Implement automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Jest
- Execute API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools with proper validation of request/response flows
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and identify potential quality risks
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) and provide QA insights
- Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices within development workflows
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, bug reports, and testing metrics
- Implement continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Bug Management & Analysis:
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Linear
- Perform root cause analysis for critical issues and work with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to prevent re-occurrence
- Prioritize and communicate quality issues effectively to stakeholders

Performance & Security Testing:
- Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6 to identify bottlenecks
- Perform basic security testing including input validation, authentication flows, and data protection
- Monitor application performance in staging and production environments
- Validate database integrity and data consistency across different environments
Technical Requirements
Core Skills:
- 3+ years of professional QA experience with web applications and APIs
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (manual and automated)
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Puppeteer
- Experience with API testing tools: Postman, Insomnia, REST Assured

- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic SQL queries
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and testing in cloud environments

- Experience with mobile testing (iOS/Android) using Appium or similar tools
- Knowledge of security testing practices and OWASP guidelines
- Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) using Cucumber or similar frameworks
